GENERAL CONDITION

All funds should be in the form of an educational grant made payable to the MEDICAL CENTER FUND OF CINCINNATI (accredited sponsor), or other payee designated by the CME department.
All other support associated with this CME activity (food, brochure distribution, etc.) must be given with the full knowledge and approval of the UNIVERSITY OF CINCINNATI (accredited sponsor).
The accredited sponsor controls the content and production of the CME activity.
The accredited sponsor assures the presentation of balanced, objective information.
Presentations concerning drugs must use generic names. If trade names are used, objective, unbiased comparisons of the trade name item used with other products on the market must be given.
No promotional activities will be permitted in the same room or obligate path as the educational activity. No product advertisement will be permitted in the program room.
Commercial support will be acknowledged to the audience, as will any significant relationship between the speaker(s) and a supporting company.
Any social activities associated with the CME program will be modest and will not take precedence over educational activities.

The Commercial Supporter agrees to abide by all requirements of the ACCME Standards for Commercial Support of Continuing Medical Education.

The UNIVERSITY OF CINCINNATI agrees to: 1) abide by the ACCME Standards for Commercial Support of Continuing Medical Education; 2) acknowledge educational support from the commercial company in program brochures, syllabi, and other program materials, and; 3) upon request, furnish commercial supporter a report concerning the expenditure of the funds provided.
